"The Demolition Man". That's what they call Alistair Overeem, and is part of the UFC heavyweight division's deep end, fighting out of Netherlands — 66 pro fights in, still swinging for a number next to his name.

The record shows a bit of everything: knockouts (25), submissions (17), decisions (5). Well-rounded is an overused word; here it's just accurate. Add a 80" reach, and the puzzle gets harder still.

The last fight went to Alexander Volkov (KO/TKO (Punch) R2) — a setback, and the interesting question is always what a fighter does with one.
