John Makdessi

"The Bull". That's what they call John Makdessi, and is part of the UFC lightweight division's deep end, fighting out of Canada — 27 pro fights in, still swinging for a number next to his name.

He fights at a pace most of the division can't hold — 5.52 strikes landed a minute, every minute. By round three, opponents are usually fighting his fight.

The last fight went to Jamie Mullarkey (Decision - Unanimous) — a setback, and the interesting question is always what a fighter does with one.
