Nobody hands you anything at flyweight. Jose Johnson — "Zhakwarius" to fight fans — has built a 16-10 record the hard way, one fight at a time since leaving the United States's regional scene.
The record shows a bit of everything: knockouts (8), submissions (3), decisions (5). Well-rounded is an overused word; here it's just accurate.
The last fight went to Felipe Bunes (Submission (Armbar) R1) — a setback, and the interesting question is always what a fighter does with one.
