Agit Kabayel vs Hysa Lands on Same Weekend as German Rival Show
Florian Winter's Ringside Zone card at Europa-Park now shares a weekend with WBC champ Kabayel (27-0, 19 KO). He insists he's not sweating it.

Picture building a boxing card in Germany, a market where big nights are rare, then learning that a WBC heavyweight champion will fight 24 hours later in the same corner of the country. That's the hand Florian Winter has been dealt. His Ringside Zone show at Europa-Park now shares a weekend with Agit Kabayel vs Nelson Hysa, set for Dusseldorf on November 28.
Kabayel is no ordinary complication. The 27-0 WBC champion, 19 of those wins by stoppage, is one of the most popular Kurdish-German figures in the sport, fresh off a third-round TKO of Damian Knyba. Winter told reporters he'd rather the dates hadn't clashed, but he's choosing to treat it as a problem to solve rather than a disaster. His read: the geographic gap between Dusseldorf and the southwestern theme park means neither gate should take a real hit.
A Different Model
What's keeping Winter calm is the kind of promotion he's trying to build. He acknowledges Frank Warren's Queensberry has serious UK pull, but he's not chasing the British formula of a star carrying the ticket sales. He wants Ringside Zone to work more like the UFC: a brand fans trust on its own, so the headliner matters less than the promise of a good night out.
The theory got a real-world test in May, when Ringside Zone put on Paddy Donovan's win over Karen Chukhadzhian at Mannheim's SAP-Arena. Winter says most people in German boxing doubted he could pull more than 10,000 people into an arena for the sport. He did, and crucially, the building was busy from 7pm, something plenty of UK shows can't manage. He credits that night for opening up sponsorship and media deals.
Winter points to the Klitschko era as the cautionary tale. German boxing leaned entirely on Wladimir and Vitali, and when Wladimir fell to Anthony Joshua in 2017, the scene went quiet because there was no platform underneath the stars. That's the hole he's trying to fill, and he's betting a brand outlasts any single fighter.
What's on the Europa-Park Card
The Europa-Park show stays on heavyweight brand, led by unbeaten prospect Emanuel Odiase, with a European title fight between Labinot Xhoxhaj and Eduardo Giustini underneath. Winter jokes the country's heavyweight surge comes down to appetite, then gets serious about a strong amateur pipeline feeding names like Nikita Putilov and Amin Younes Ouchaou.
The pro end looks healthy too. Olympic bronze medallist Nelvie Tiafack is in the mix, and brothers Ismet and Endrit Ademi signed multi-year deals with Ringside Zone last month. Winter's line sums up his mood heading into a crowded weekend: pressure makes diamonds, no risk, no fun. He'll find out on November 28 whether German fans have room for two heavyweight nights.
