Speaking on The Last Stand podcast, the undisputed super featherweight champion — holder of the IBF, WBA and WBO straps at 130 — said Dubois' latest outing was a lackluster performance with nothing spectacular in it. That's a bold read on a fighter one full division north of her, and Baumgardner leaned into it. Baumgardner didn't stop at Dubois. She offered a sharp take on Chantelle Cameron's win over Mikaela Mayer, calling it a 50/50 fight she'd initially scored to Mayer. Mayer has all the tools, Baumgardner said, but something's missing — enough that she thinks Mayer needs to head back to the drawing board.
