Ben Whittaker steps back into a Birmingham ring on Saturday, October 3, headlining under the Matchroom banner against Australia's Conor Wallace. The unbeaten light heavyweight — 12-0-1 with 9 knockouts and ranked #10 in the division — is now a year into his Matchroom deal after opening his pro career with Boxxer. His last outing was a second-round stoppage of Richard Rivera, and the Olympic silver medalist arrives with plenty of momentum.

Wallace is the more intriguing X-factor here, and not for reasons that flatter him. This is the first time he's boxed outside Australia as a professional, and only the second time he's fought outside his native Queensland at all.
