WBC middleweight champion Carlos Adames headlines Riyadh Season Zuffa Boxing 13 on November 14 at The Venue in Riyadh, where he meets Welsh southpaw Gerome Warburton over 10 rounds. The catch: this one's contested at 165 pounds, well north of the 160-pound middleweight limit — so Adames' belt isn't on the line, but his standing as The Ring's No. 1-ranked 160-pounder very much is.

Adames (25-1-1, 18 KO) returns less than eight months after dismantling Austin 'Ammo' Williams by unanimous decision in his third title defense. The Dominican from Elías Piña hasn't lost in eight straight. Warburton (18-2-2, 2 KO), a 31-year-old from Colwyn Bay, revived his career in 2026 with back-to-back decisions over former British champ Nathan Heaney — but two knockouts in 22 fights tells you where this one lives if it goes the distance.

The Co-Feature Carries Weight

Australian former world champion Jason 'Mayhem' Moloney (29-4, 20 KO) makes his Zuffa Boxing debut against Mexico's Andres Teran (19-2, 14 KO) in a 10-round bantamweight bout. Moloney, the No. 9-ranked contender in the division, has stacked two wins in Australia to push himself back toward a title shot. Teran isn't a soft touch — he blew out previously undefeated Floyd Diaz in the sixth round at Zuffa Boxing 08 in June.

The undercard leans on upset artists. Super middleweight Bruno Surace (26-1-2, 5 KO), still just two fights removed from flattening Jaime Munguia — one of the biggest shocks of last year given Munguia's 46-2 (35 KO) résumé — faces unbeaten Pole Kamil Bednarek (17-0, 10 KO). Elsewhere, Mexico's Ivan Ortiz (13-0-2, 9 KO), fresh off upsetting the unbeaten Justin Viloria, trades with Dariial Kuchmenov (10-0, 8 KO), who's riding a five-fight KO streak.

Uzbekistan's prospect pipeline gets more reps too: heavyweight Jakhongir Zokirov (2-0, 2 KO) and light heavyweight Tullo Boymatov (1-0, 1 KO) both return after quick stoppage debuts earlier in the year. Middleweight Radzhab Butaev (16-2, 12 KO) rounds out the bill against Colombian puncher Alexander Castro (15-2, 12 KO).

Tickets are on sale now through WeBook. The card streams on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Canada and airs on Sky Sports in the UK and Ireland. For Adames, it's a tune-up weight and a stay-busy date — but for a man ranked No. 1 at 160, every round against a live southpaw is a chance to remind the division he's not waiting for anyone.
