Dan Hooker vs Saladhine Parnasse Headlines a Loaded UFC Paris Card

For the fifth year running the UFC touches down in Paris for a September date, and the 14-fight card at Accor Arena has a genuine hook up top. Dan Hooker, a fixture in the lightweight top 15 for the better part of a decade, gets the job of welcoming French star Saladhine Parnasse to the Octagon on Saturday. Parnasse arrives at 23-2 with 15 finishes, a two-division KSW champion whose only recent loss came chasing a title in a third weight class.

This is Hooker's fourth UFC main event, and he badly needs the win. "The Hangman" has dropped back-to-back fights to Arman Tsarukyan — who submitted him via arm triangle in Round 2 — and Benoît Saint Denis, and at 155 that kind of skid tends to get punished quickly. He said he's arriving with renewed focus, and his striking plus his mileage against elite names make him a nasty first assignment for the 28-year-old from Aubervilliers.

The trap here is obvious. Everyone wants to see Parnasse, so the hype machine tilts toward the newcomer while the battle-tested veteran gets shaded. Whether that reads correctly once the door shuts is the whole point of the fight.

The Co-Main Is Another Lightweight Scrap

Fares Ziam takes on fellow Frenchman Axel Sola in a 155-pound co-headliner with real momentum on both sides. Ziam opened 2026 on a six-fight run before Tom Nolan halted it in June, but he's 2-0 in Paris and knocked out Matt Frevola the last time these fans got their hands on him. Sola, 12-1-1, has needed only three UFC bouts to become a name — a brawl with Mason Jones, then a first-round submission of Ismael Bonfim in July.

Elsewhere, Michael "Venom" Page returns to middleweight riding a three-fight win streak and faces Nursulton Ruziboev, who's unbeaten in the UFC's 185-pound division. Ruziboev's most recent win was a technical submission of Andrey Pulyaev in June — a bout that left Pulyaev unranked at 10-5. Whoever grabs a fourth straight win should be staring at a ranked opponent next.

The undercard keeps the theme going. Streaking welterweights Daniil Donchenko, the TUF winner now 3-0 since his Noche UFC debut, meets Contender Series grad Punahele Soriano, who's quietly stacked four straight since dropping to 170. And popular featherweight Morgan Charriere — a perfect stoppage act in his two Paris appearances — tries to bounce back from a December loss against Felipe Lima, the Brazilian who submitted Muhammad Naimov on short notice before a detour to bantamweight.

It's a card built for the room: French favorites, all-action styles, and a main event where nobody's quite sure who to trust. That's usually a good sign for a fun night.
