Daniel Dubois isn't overthinking the rematch. The WBO heavyweight champion, 23-3 with 22 knockouts, meets Fabio Wardley again on October 17 — the same man he stopped in the 11th round last time out. Wardley has spent the buildup talking about tweaking his approach to flip the result. Dubois' response is blunt: make all the changes you want, he'll have an answer for every one of them.

That confidence is earned. Dubois' first meeting with Wardley (20-1-1, 19 KO) ended in a Round 11 TKO, the only blemish on the #4-ranked contender's record. A 22-KO finishing rate tells you the champion doesn't need much room to end a night, and Wardley — himself a near-95% finisher — knows exactly what walking into that again looks like.

Dubois was candid about the mental side. He admitted he swings between anxious and calm heading into fight week, and that it's really about finding the balance.
