Ex-Arsenal and Spurs Players Return to the Ring for £200k Charity Card

A crew of former Premier League and Football League names is trading grass for canvas again. Pro Project Promotions, the outfit built by ex-Arsenal goalkeeper Graham Stack, heads back to the Grosvenor House Hotel in Mayfair on Thursday 22 October 2026 for A Night to Remember III, its third charity boxing show in barely a year.

The numbers behind the venture are the real headline. Since that debut card sold out the Grosvenor ballroom in October 2025, the promotion says it has pulled in more than £201,500 for good causes across two events. This time the bill swells to 14 former professional footballers, up from the outfit's earlier lineups.

The names read like a scattered team sheet from a decade of English football: Nile Ranger, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, Gary Madine, Sebastien Bassong, Matthew Briggs, Armand Traore, Harlee Dean, Simon Cox, Lee Cook, Leroy Lita, Anthony Gardner, David Norris, Martin Woods and Jamie Sendles-White. Individual match-ups haven't been locked in yet, but organisers say they're coming soon.

The Amazon Angle

What separates this show from the usual white-collar fundraiser is the media package attached to it. A behind-the-scenes documentary is set to land on Amazon Prime in the build-up, which should widen the audience well beyond the ballroom's ticket-buyers. Stack is betting that visibility translates into a bigger night than either of the first two.

Stack framed this as the promotion's biggest and most emotional lineup so far, arguing every fighter has a story worth telling — some who played at the top level, others who've had to rebuild their lives entirely. He said the whole point is these men stepping back into a ring for people who need help more than they do.

Getting In

The pitch, in Stack's telling, is straightforward: buy early, because he doesn't expect tickets to hang around given the first two shows both moved fast.
