Hysa vs Narmo: Two Unbeaten Heavyweights, 36 KOs, One Undercard

Before Moses Itauma and Filip Hrgovic settle their heavyweight business at the O2 on August 29, two more unbeaten big men will trade leather with everything on the line. Nelson Hysa and Thomas Narmo bring a combined 38-0 record into London — and 36 of those wins came by knockout. That's a 95% finish rate between them, which tells you exactly how this one is likely to end.

The intrigue runs deeper than the numbers. Hysa, 41, was heavily linked to a Tyson Fury bout before Fury opted to face 46-year-old Mariusz Wach instead, stopping him inside seven rounds last month. Now the Albanian faces Norway's Narmo, who is nearly ten years younger and carries a spotless 100% knockout ratio. You could reasonably make Hysa the slight underdog in his own showcase.

Stakes on the Undercard

The winner of Hysa-Narmo should slot into something more meaningful, potentially against whoever comes through another heavyweight clash between Guido Vianello and Moses Jolly. Vianello makes his Queensberry debut off a fifth-round stoppage of Alexis Barriere, and he's got a decent name on his ledger already — he previously beat Arslanbek Makhmudov inside the distance.

The Lightweight Subplot

Elsewhere on the card, Sam Noakes is trying to claw his way back into the world picture. The 29-year-old gave a strong account of himself last November before falling short against WBO champion Abdullah Mason, now 21-0 (18 KO) after stopping Albert Bell in the 12th. This time Noakes draws Denys Berinchyk, a name with real pedigree.

Berinchyk, ranked #8 at lightweight with a 19-1 (9 KO) record, hasn't fought since February 2025, when Keyshawn Davis stopped him in four. Davis has since moved to 15-0. Ring rust is the obvious question mark for the Ukrainian, and Noakes will want to test it early.

It's a stacked supporting bill, but the Hysa-Narmo fight is the one that jumps off the page. Two men who don't know how to hear a final bell, both with perfect records, one of them walking out of the O2 with the first blemish. Fireworks are the safe bet.
