Joe Rogan Re-Ups With Spotify on Another $250M Podcast Deal
The UFC commentator and JRE host locks in a second nine-figure extension, matching the $250M he signed for in 2024 — and keeps the show everywhere.

Joe Rogan isn't going anywhere. The UFC color commentator and host of The Joe Rogan Experience has agreed to a multi-year extension with Spotify worth $250 million, matching the exact figure he signed for in 2024, according to a Thursday report from The Wall Street Journal.
That's two straight nine-figure paydays from the same partner. Rogan, 59, first went exclusive with Spotify in 2020 before loosening the terms with his 2024 deal. This latest agreement keeps that open setup intact, so JRE continues to air on Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, YouTube and other platforms rather than living behind one wall.
From Octagon to Microphone
Rogan launched the podcast back in 2009 and built it into one of the most-listened-to shows on the planet, pulling guests from entertainment, politics, science and MMA. Long before the podcast money, he made his name as a comedian and actor, then became a fixture at the UFC broadcast table as the promotion broke into the mainstream through the 2000s.
He's still part of the cageside commentary crew, though these days he's selective. Rogan typically works only a handful of numbered pay-per-views a year, which makes his presence on a broadcast feel like an event in itself.
The show isn't without baggage. Rogan has drawn repeated criticism for airing conspiracy theories and unverified claims with minimal fact-checking. None of that has dented the numbers, which is exactly why Spotify keeps writing the checks.
For the UFC, the subtext is simple: one of its most recognizable voices just got handed another quarter-billion-dollar vote of confidence. Expect Rogan on a mic, cageside or in the studio, for years to come.
