Johnny Fisher Returns at Zuffa Boxing 11 After 294-Day Layoff

Johnny Fisher walks back into the Copper Box Arena on Saturday carrying a 14-1 record (12 KO) and a 294-day itch to scratch. The Romford Bull tops Zuffa Boxing 11 in London on his promotional debut, his first outing since a fourth-round stoppage of Ivan Balaz in Monte Carlo last December.

There's history in this building. Fisher lost his May 2025 rematch to Dave Allen here, so returning to the same venue to headline is neat timing. Standing in his way is six-foot-five Belgian Michael Pirotton, who arrives for his third fight of 2026 having finished both prior opponents this year inside the distance. He's treating this as the biggest name on his resume and the ticket to a career reset.

The Chief Support Is a Grind

Craig Richards has been in with the best and lived to tell it. The South Londoner challenged Dmitrii Bivol for a world title in 2021, then dropped a razor-thin decision to Joshua Buatsi in a 2022 eliminator, and lost to Willy Hutchinson in Riyadh in June 2024. Context on those two names: Buatsi now sits at #5 in the division at 20-1 (13 KO), Hutchinson at #6 on 19-2 (14 KO). Losing to that level tells you where Richards belongs.

Since the Hutchinson defeat, Spider has reeled off two straight, both late stoppages, over Padraig McCrory and Dan Azeez. His opponent Radivoje Kalajdzic is the danger, though. Hot Rod stunned Oleksandr Gvozdyk on his Zuffa Boxing debut and now wants back-to-back wins under the banner.

History on the Undercard

The main card opens with a first. Kayla Allen, a former European and Elite Senior National amateur champ, becomes the first woman ever to fight under the Zuffa Boxing banner. The 22-year-old makes her pro debut against Hungary's Edina Kiss, a 38-fight veteran with 17 wins and 10 KOs who's been out over a year.

Elsewhere, middleweights Louis Greene and Lee Cutler (16-2) meet in an all-British scrap with show-stealer potential, and undefeated cruiserweights Rogelio Romero and Aurel Ignat collide with a combined perfect ledger. Romero, Mexico's only male boxer at Tokyo 2020, is 6-0 with every win by knockout. Ignat, the Wembley-based Moldovan, is 11-0 with eight stoppages. On paper, don't expect the full eight rounds.
