That's a deliberately low ask for a hybrid combat-sports show trying to sell a name-versus-name main event.

Perry walks in with real momentum. "Platinum" is on his second straight MMA outing after a run of eight bouts in other striking formats, including a perfect 6-0 stretch in BKFC. His return to the cage went about as well as it could: a second-round stoppage of Nate Diaz at May's MVP MMA event.

Danis Is the Opposite Kind of Story

Danis, 32, has been busy but bruised. He grabbed a Misfits MMA title with a 15-second submission of Warren Spencer in August 2025, then went hunting bigger names and came up empty twice, dropping RAF bouts to Colby Covington and Khamzat Chimaev. Covington himself is riding a rough patch, having last lost to Joaquin Buckley via doctor's stoppage in the third.

Here's the part that reframes the Perry fight: Danis is already booked for October. He's slated to meet Arman Tsarukyan for RAF 14's middleweight crossover title before this Orlando bout even happens. Whether the crossover circuit's economics hold up is another matter.
