A new combat-sports promotion is betting its launch on two of the most divisive names outside the UFC. Mike Perry and Dillon Danis top the Duel Arena debut card Saturday night at the Kia Center in Orlando, meeting in a mixed martial arts main event that mixes MMA, boxing and kickboxing across one bill.

Perry, 6-0 since reinventing himself in bare-knuckle boxing, steps back into an MMA cage for just the second time since leaving the UFC in 2021. His last outing was a second-round TKO of Nate Diaz at MVP MMA this past May. Danis brings a spotless 3-0 MMA record and a highlight that speaks for itself: a 15-second knockout of Warren Spencer at Misfits 22 last August.

On paper this is a stylistic collision. Perry is a brawler who thrives when a fight turns ugly, and his BKFC run proved he'll happily eat one to land two. Danis, meanwhile, is a jiu-jitsu specialist whose entire pro career has lasted a combined handful of minutes. If he can drag Perry to the mat, the read changes fast.
