San Antonio gets a genuine three-belt unification on Saturday, October 25, as Emanuel Navarrete defends his WBO and IBF super featherweight titles against WBC champion O'Shaquie Foster. It's the kind of fight that doesn't come along often: two titleholders, three belts, and a stylistic puzzle that flips depending on which round you're imagining.

Navarrete's résumé is the headline number here — one official loss in 14 years as a pro, that coming by split decision to Denys Berinchyk in his lone outing at lightweight. He's since recommitted to 130 and turned himself into a unified champion. The flip side: Navarrete wins by knockout far more often than not, but he rarely does it cleanly, trading damage on his way to the finish.

The Styles Problem

Foster is the antidote to chaos. He's a strategist who finds his edge whether he's slugging — like the knockout of Rocky Hernandez — or out-pointing a former pound-for-pound name in Stephen Fulton. That's the debate: Navarrete's volume and unpredictability against Foster's ring IQ and precision. It's a coin-flip that reasonable people change their minds on every time they sit down to predict it.

Sheffield's Title Defense

Earlier the same weekend, Sheffield hosts another 140-pound title story. Dalton Smith (19-0, 14 KO) defends the WBC super lightweight belt against Alberto Puello (25-1, 11 KO) on DAZN. Smith won the strap in January by stopping Subriel Matías in the fifth — the same Matías who'd taken it off Puello via majority decision in July 2025.

That belt has been a hot potato. No one has successfully defended it since Regis Prograis back in the summer of 2023, so Smith is fighting to break a run of one-and-done champions while Puello tries to reclaim what he lost. On the undercard, Maxi Hughes faces Giorgio Visioli, and Shannon Ryan defends the British and Commonwealth super flyweight belts against Emma Dolan.

Back in San Antonio, the chief support pits unbeaten Albert Gonzalez (18-0, 11 KO) against the tactically sharp Edward Vazquez, with Steven Navarro taking on Emanuel Moreno at bantamweight. Gonzalez will have to prove he's world class — Vazquez's official record undersells him, with close verdicts against Ray Ford and Joe Cordina that could easily have gone the other way. Two strong cards, one weekend, and a main event that belongs in any conversation about the best unifications left in the sport.
