The former ONE atomweight champ hasn't fought since 2023. She's back on Sept. 5 in Bangkok — but in Muay Thai, not MMA.

Stamp Fairtex is finally coming back. One of ONE Championship's most bankable stars will headline ONE Fight Night 47 on Sept. 5 at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, snapping a layoff that stretches back to 2023, when a knee injury put her career on ice. ONE officials confirmed the booking on Tuesday.

Here's the twist: she's not returning in MMA, the sport that made her a champion. Stamp will instead face Selina Flores in a women's atomweight Muay Thai bout — the discipline where she first built her reputation. The event streams live on Prime Video in the United States.

That's a notable pivot for a fighter who spent the back end of her run proving she could hang in the cage. Before the injury, Stamp reeled off three consecutive MMA wins, capped by a victory over UFC veteran Seo-hee Ham to capture the vacant ONE women's atomweight MMA title. Momentum doesn't get much cleaner than that.

The Cost of the Layoff

Then the knee gave out. Stamp was forced to vacate the belt she'd just won and disappeared from the schedule entirely — three years is a long time to sit in any weight class, let alone atomweight, where the margins are razor-thin and the turnover is constant. Whatever she left on the table, she doesn't get it back by simply showing up.

Opening her return with Muay Thai rather than MMA is a smart hedge. It's the ruleset she knows cold, it lets her shake off the rust against a striker in Flores, and it eases her back into the spotlight without gambling her comeback on a full mixed-rules test straight away. Whether she circles back to reclaim MMA gold is a question for later.

For now, the story is simple. A genuine crossover draw, one of the faces the promotion built its recent push around, is back in a main event slot after the longest absence of her career. Mark it down for Sept. 5.
