Daniel Dubois hits as hard as anyone in boxing — 22 knockouts in 23 wins — and his career has become the sport's best redemption story. Written off after being stopped by Joe Joyce in 2020 and Oleksandr Usyk in 2023, 'DDD' answered with the run of his life: destroying Jarrell Miller, flattening Filip Hrgović, and then, in one of the great British boxing nights, knocking out Anthony Joshua at Wembley in 2024.
The Londoner is a classic pressure puncher: a heavy ramrod jab — arguably the hardest in the division — followed by right hands that end fights whether they land clean or not. The knock was always the mental side; the Joshua night, in front of 96,000, buried that conversation for good.
The Usyk rematch in 2025 went the champion's way again, confirming the gap to the era's best — but Dubois is a decade younger than the men above him, and at 28 he's already reclaimed championship status at heavyweight while the division's old guard ages out.
The heavyweight future likely runs through him: young enough to outlast the era, powerful enough to end any fight with either hand, and now battle-tested in the biggest arenas the sport has.
