Nobody hands you anything at welterweight. Randy Brown — "Rudeboy" to fight fans — has built a 20-8 record the hard way, one fight at a time since leaving Jamaica's regional scene.

He fights at a pace most of the division can't hold — 4.49 strikes landed a minute, every minute. By round three, opponents are usually fighting his fight. Add a 78" reach, and the puzzle gets harder still.

The last fight went to Kevin Holland (Decision - Unanimous) — a setback, and the interesting question is always what a fighter does with one.
