Johnny Fisher finally has a name to prepare for. The heavyweight will make his Zuffa Boxing debut against Belgium's Michael Pirotton at the Copper Box Arena in London on September 26, headlining his first card since splitting from Matchroom after 15 professional fights.
Pirotton arrives with a 12-2 record and six stoppage wins, so this isn't a soft landing dressed up as a homecoming. Fisher played it straight in his own assessment, calling Pirotton an experienced, powerful heavyweight who can't be underestimated — the kind of respectful line that usually means a fighter has been burned before.
And he has. Fisher's last 18 months read like a rollercoaster diagram. He edged Dave Allen by split decision, then walked into a knockout defeat in their June 2025 rematch, the first loss of his career. He steadied himself with a stoppage win over Ivan Balaz, but the Allen sequence is the one that reset expectations around him.
The Move That Matters
The bigger story is the promotional switch. Fisher built his name under Eddie Hearn's banner, riding the 'Bull Army' following through packed London nights. Jumping to Dana White's Zuffa Boxing project is a statement of intent from both sides — a homegrown draw handed a headline slot to launch the operation's London presence.
The undercard fills out the ambition. Craig Richards meets Radivoje Kalajdzic in a light heavyweight co-main, Lee Culter faces Louis Greene at middleweight, and unbeaten pair Leon Hughes and Alex MacMillan both feature. Fred Pullen and Kayla Allen round things off with professional debuts.
For Fisher, the maths is simple. Beat a durable 12-2 opponent, keep the Copper Box loud, and the reboot works. Lose, and questions about that Allen knockout follow him into a new promotional era. He gets his answer on September 26.
